What is Kidsport?
KidSport enables eligible Western Australian children aged 5-18 years to participate in community sport and recreation by offering them financial assistance towards club fees.
What does it cover?
Maximum of up to $150 per child per calendar year.
-
- Funding will cover partial or full cost of fees to join the nominated sport or recreation club. The registration system has an option to pay the remaining $70 through the online registration portal. However, we would prefer you paying this direct to the club as this saves the club money in transaction fees.
-
Who can apply?
Children are eligible for KidSport if they are aged 5–18 years and have a Health Care or Pensioner Concession card.
Alternatively, families without concession cards can apply for a KidSport Financial Exception through an approved KidSport Financial Assessor.
KidSport no longer has referral agents
